Eva’s recreational opiate use is under control, or so she thinks.  When a mad man abducts her, her only escape is to confront her addiction and pattern of denial.

Denial is one of the most frustrating and least understood aspects of substance use disorder, both for those in need of help, and those wanting to help.  In the movie “some?” denial is a character, a mad man named Anthony.

Though Anthony firmly believes he’s doing the right thing, a haunting reality tortures him relentlessly and hides an unbearably painful secret.

“some?” explores several stages of denial and drives home a powerful reminder that while denial can be surmounted, it always lies dormant – silent in  hibernation – ready to pounce on new insecurities and fresh feelings of inadequacy.

Whether you’re a substance user or not, you’ll finish watching “some?” asking, “Where in my life could denial be preventing me from reaching my full potential?”
